Children's Story Time at Trinity

Maggie went to church with us yesterday and went up to the chancel steps with the other kids for story time.

The surprise was that this week she volunteered to be a chicken

and stand up to help tell the story.

Baking Cookies with Grandma

Maggie's spending a few days with us.  The first thing she did was to bake some oatmeal raisin cookies with CL.

And the second was to eat them.

Family Picture

The last time the entire family was together was Christmas 2010, but we never got a picture.  The last picture of the whole family was Christmas 2008, but the whole family was three persons smaller then.

A Warm, Winter Day ...

... so we went for an afternoon walk in Forest Park.  We saw a hawk and some Canada Geese, 

and, even though it was 60 degrees, there was still a bit of ice on the duck ponds.

By the time we headed home, it was already sunset.
