Boar's Head Festival 2013
Boar's Head Festival at Trinity Church is tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday. Last night was dress rehearsal. Here are a two shots of CL - Mother Superior - and two overall images of the sanctuary.

New Kitchen
A few pictures of our recent kitchen re-do, first a before and then three after shots. This took from early October until early December. The only thing left is painting the sashes on the new windows; they were installed after everything else was done.

A Classical Holiday 2012
CL sold her "Quilts and More" at the Classical Condominiums again this year. Here are a few shots from close-up to a wide-angle panorama, showing the public lobby and atrium, which was originally the auditorium when Classical was a high school.

Copper Kettle
Across the street from Jesse and Aurora's house is the Copper Kettle Brewing Company. For an early Christmas present, Jesse gave me half a batch of my choice of beer. We brewed it together, and he'll deliver my half when he comes out here for Christmas. The total yield will be 5 cases (12 bottles per case) of 22 ounce bottles.
The process was simple. I picked one of the options available (I'm on a Boatmeal Stout), and
we followed all the steps in the provided recipe. Help was available throughout the process.
It will age for about three weeks at the brewery, and then Jesse will bottle it. We get to design our own labels, but we haven't yet.

Pittsburgh Farmers' Market
Yesterday we got up bright and early while it was still cold and went to the Farmers' Market on the Strip in Pittsburgh.
