Pittsburgh Trains

We took Angstrom to the Carnegie Science Center the other day.  A seasonal display is their Miniature Railroad & Village.  It's huge; different parts of it represent different seasons; everything in it is in western Pennsylvania; and it changes from day to night and back every few minutes.  But, most importantly, Angstrom loves trains.

In the play area he got to build his own train,

play with toy trains,

and even get a train story read to him by CL.

There were even more trains in the lobby.

We also returned to Phipps Conservatory, where Angstrom was wearing his train shirt.

Meanwhile,

Adeline stayed inside where it was warm.

Nature Hike

Yesterday afternoon Jeremy, Maggie, and I went on what she declared was a nature hike.  She started off with plenty of enthusiasm,

but ended up riding home.
