Red Sox
We went to the Red Sox - Mariners game tonight. Sadly, the Sox lost 4-2, but it was still an enjoyable evening.
At the start of the game, the Pru was barely visible through the light mist that was falling,
but the weather improved as the night went on.

A Visit from Maggie (updated)
Maggie (and her parents) dropped by for a quick visit yesterday afternoon. Maggie liked sitting in a rocking chair, just like her father.
She also liked sitting on the porch swing with her grandfather. But, best of all, she discovered something she doesn't have at home -- stairs. Climbing them was her favorite activity.
I just realized that I shot a few more Maggie on the stairs pictures yesterday morning:

Corduroy Orange's Vegetable Medley
The other day Corduroy Orange did a post on a vegetable medley he had done. It sounded good, so Jo (who visited us for a couple days) and CL did their version of it. Ours was drier than the original -- his tomatoes must have been more juicy. Anyway, here's a picture of ours for comparison. Even the bowls are similar; he made them both.

Hughie & Tomatoes
Today was Mr. Toad's second routine maintenance appointment (just shy of 30,000 miles in 15 months). All that was planned was an oil change and a few checks, but it didn't work out that way. Last week on the way home from Pittsburgh, the traction control and brake warning lights on the dash lit up for about 20 minutes. It turns out that was the result of a failure of the front right ride height sensor, so New Country is keeping him overnight. Since the last time I needed a loaner from them, they changed their policy: I got to take an almost brand new Cooper S home with me. And his name is Hughie.
Back home, CL and I harvested a few tomatoes. The large one weighed two pounds; it's an Italian Red Pear (we bought the seeds at the North Quabbin Garlic and Arts Festival a couple years ago). Others include Yellow Jubilee, Green Zebra, Roma, Big Boy, Cherokee Purple, a couple varieties of cherry tomatoes, and Wapsipinicon Peach (they're the ones that look like yellow super balls, and they have fuzzy skins.).
