Standing on Her Own Two Feet

Adeline isn't walking yet, but she crawls very quickly, and when she gets where she's going, she stands right up,

even if it's to play with Maggie's kitchen.

Angstrom & Jesse's Sandbox

Some pictures from last Monday.  Jesse likes building towers of sand, and Angstrom likes knocking them down.

Penultimate Beach Day

A few more shots of us and the ocean.  By the way, the air temperature has been in the low 90's, and the water temperature between 77 and 81, except for one day, for the entire two weeks.

These last two were taken at Daniels's Whalebone Seafood Market, where we've been buying our seafood for years.  The first is a skipjack tuna and the second a softshell crab.

Clouds or Smoke?

This a.m. Jo and I were at the beach, when we noticed this.  First thought was a storm moving in, but as time passed, it looked more like smoke.  It was smoke from a fire in the marsh on the sound side, but we heard both that it was a controlled burn and that it was caused by fireworks.

In the other direction, nothing but sun.

And, in the afternoon, Maggie and Amanda.
