Canyon de Chelly National Monument (pronounced d'SHAY) has views of cliff dweller ruins and petroglyphs. There are thousands of archaeological sites, many of which can be seen only from the floor of the canyon, but we did see some from the overlooks on the south rim. There are guided tours of the bottom, and the land there is still cultivated by the Navajos.
