Musee d'Orsay and Quail

Today was the Musee d'Orsay.  We took the bus and walked a bit to get there.  First a few shots taken along the way.

A sign in the courtyard by the entrance; the statues below are also in the courtyard.

The rules were no photography inside the museum, but it appeared that many ignored it.  I took only a couple, both in the spirit of the law.  First a shot out through the clock on the fifth level.  Looking closely, you can see Sacre Coeur in the 4-5 sector.

And second Angstrom enjoying running on a glass floor over model of the center of Paris.  L'Opera is below him.

CL and Aurora on the bus.

Jesse and I went shopping for dinner, and he discovered that the neighborhood market had quail, so he bought a dozen.  Here he is cutting off their poor, tiny heads (which he used to make stock for the sauce).

Appetizers were apples, cheese, and bread (French, obviously).

The little birds in the oven

and on the table.

And Angstrom surveying his realm.

Yes, of course, the quail were excellent.
